IslamExplained.info is a source of authentic Islamic knowledge, with the content based on the Quran, the most sacred text in Islam, and verified sayings of Prophet Muhammad ﷺ known as Hadith. There are two main objectives of this website: (1) to remove certain misconceptions about Islam; (2) to bring to light some little-known and less emphasized aspects of Islam. The articles are carefully researched and easy to understand, offering practical guidance on Islam and how it should be practiced, rather than just presenting theoretical concepts and ideas.
For many audiences, Islam has been a largely misrepresented and misunderstood religion, resulting in a need to propound its teachings in the light of its original sources. Additionally, Muslims, particularly since the last few centuries, have largely ignored certain beautiful and significant teachings of Islam, which we aim to discuss here.
The content on this website is based on authentic sources, so there should be no doubts regarding the validity of the content. For this reason, quotations from the Quran and Hadith have been extensively incorporated. While the verses of the Quran can easily be looked up and verified if they are properly referenced, this is sometimes not the case with Hadith. This is because there are several versions of most books of Hadith, with their own numbering systems. For this reason, hyperlinks to Sunnah.com or some other reliable database are included for the ahadith mentioned on this website, so that these can easily be verified by the readers, and their authenticity ensured.
It is hoped that the content presented at Islam Explained is of benefit and interest for both Muslim and non-Muslim visitors alike. For feedback and queries regarding the content of this website or Islam, in general, please feel free to contact us at islamexplained@outlook.com.
